About Us – Founded in May 2020 by Dela Kwami Acolatse, TASTEtimonials is a concept that is pushing the agenda for local and seasonal eating in Ghana & Africa. We utilise locally sourced ingredients from around us to create nostalgic dining experiences integrating African flavor profiles with various twists to enrich these already familiar flavors or reintroduce new ones as well as bringing new value in some of the often-overlooked ingredients from our regions.

About Our Founder
DELA KWAMI ACOLATSE
A culinary entrepreneur, self-taught visual artist, and Computer Science graduate from Ashesi University
Dela Kwami Acolatse’s style of cooking is essentially modern West African dining, re-imagined.
He has been trained by a wealth of chefs (both local and international) on the Ghanaian scene over the years which has allowed him to nurture his skills to deliver his absolute best through TASTEtimonials to customers and clients.
Dela has always been passionate about food and how it is presented seeing that one always eats with their eyes before they’ve even tasted the food. His background in the arts allows him to see food in a different light. He essentially marry both worlds (i.e art and food) as he sees his paints as ingredients, his palette and brushes as his kitchen knife tools and his canvas as his plates – a unique interpretation that he employs together with various flavours which highlights ingredients sourced locally and in season in hopes of promoting a more sustainable and future proof Ghana food system.
